New OPEN CALL from Scotland: CutLog artists moving image

CutLog artists moving image, are delighted to announce their collaboration with the Society of Scottish Artists to jointly offer a new Open Call for artists moving image.
They now invite artists from across the world, and at all stages of their career to enter their work to be considered for inclusion in a showcase screening as part of the SSA's Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh from 22 December 2019 – 30 January 2020.
This prestigious annual exhibition, with an audience in excess of 33,000 people is this year being organised in conjunction with Visual Arts Scotland. Within this contemporary art exhibition, there will, for the first time, be a large gallery dedicated to screenings of artist moving image. We are looking for video or digitised film suitable for single-screen projection. Works should be no longer than 20 minutes. There is no theme, we are keen to utilise this opportunity to discover the variety of ways in which artists are exploring and developing their ideas through this medium.
The opportunity is Open for Entry: Thursday 20 June 2019 with a Deadline on : Monday 5 August 2019.
All submissions will be viewed and selected by a panel of artists and moving image makers.
