Are you a curious young professional based in Estonia — working in the arts, business, public sector, academia, or tech — and wondering how artistic methods can spark meaningful change? Join us for Cross-Innovation Compass, a three-day workshop exploring how creativity can drive transformation in business, urban planning, and cross-sector collaboration.
What’s in it for you?
• Work in a small, interdisciplinary team led by international experts
• Explore real-world challenges through creative methods
• Shape new models for hybrid innovation
• Be part of a growing cross-innovation network
• Receive a certificate and (if you wish) be featured in the EU co-funded Art Innovation Toolbox
We’re looking for 15 participants (5 per strand):
• Aged roughly 21–40, but open-mindedness is more important than age
• Artists, designers, economists, urban planners, policy makers, service designers, tech professionals, students, civil servants—if you're curious, you're eligible
• Based in Estonia
Choose one of three thematic strands:
• 1. Value Creation in Art-Based Innovation
Explore how artistic thinking can solve business challenges, unlock creativity in teams, and add value to organisational culture.
• 2. Urban Regeneration
Co-develop a creative regeneration roadmap for the Aparaaditehas district in Tartu, blending participatory design and artistic tools.
• 3. Transformative Competences for Intermediaries
Help define the skillset of professionals who connect the arts with public/private innovation systems—building trust, dialogue, and system change.
