We arrange the Artists Talk at the art scene in Bodø for their public or locally at Kjerringøy for the inhabitants of the half island, on  local places. Any event will be a collaboration and you will get the help you need in order for it to be suited to you as an artist. You can make an artist talk, hold a workshop, give a lecture.
This program responds to the individual artistic practice of the resident, and preparatory skype meetings between the program manager and the artist can be conducted in preparation for the residency.
At the working area or other local spaces, we can arrange for exhibition, performance, show film, photos or you can arrange courses at you choice (no special fee). We will present you to Bodø Art Association Gallery.

Other activities
In winter you can observe the Aurora Borealis. There is great fishing almost any season from the shore and from a boat. Splendid nature for hiking by foot and ski. The climate is not too cold as we are close to the sea. Use the kayak both at the lake and the fjord and bathing is  great on a warm day.
You can take a part in our life at the farm, if you like. Especially in the winter months during calving. The hunting season in the fall and working the land in spring. Even learn about reindeer work with our friends, the Pavall family, who is herding in this area, normally in the fall- and around Easter.

Transport
Take the train or plane to Bodø, and buss 400 to Festvåg. Take the ferry from Festvåg to Misten on the Kjerringøy side where a new bus will  take you to Kjerringøy church/school and we meet you there.
