It is the ultimate moment to start preparing for the annual exhibition of Tartu art 2023. The designer of this year’s exhibition is Evelin Zolotko, and this time the exhibition has three categories: blue, red, green. Based on the presented works, the blue, red and green galleries will be formed. Works that fit into one category in terms of colour are welcome. The amount of the corresponding colour on the work should be in the majority.

This winter Narva Art Residency invites one EKA employee for a residency. The residency period is from December 19, 2023, to January 21, 2024, but the resident can also come to Narva after the holidays. EKA employees with different job titles are welcome – professors, lecturers, specialists, directors, researchers, etc.

Rüki residency was created with the aim of offering creative people the opportunity to conduct their own artistic practices in the atmospheric Old Town of Viljandi, thereby bringing change to one’s daily routine.

On the occasion of the Estonian Academy of Arts' 109th  and EKA Ceramics 100th anniversaries, we will hold a public auction where the works of both alumni and students will be sold. The auction proceeds will be collected to support young artists of EKA.

Narva Art Residency is announcing its open call for residencies in 2024. This time we offer about a dozen residencies in the main programme and 3 funded places for creating public space installations in the European-Russian border city of Narva. Deadline is on 30 September.
