On Wednesday, August 7, at 18.00, Mia Tamme & Delphine Lejeune open their co-exhibition “It Never Gets Old” at Hobusepea gallery. The exhibition is curated by Tiiu Meiner. The exhibition will remain open until September 1, 2024.
“It Never Gets Old” brings together artist Mia Tamme (Estonia) and designer Delphine Lejeune (Belgium) to explore the intersection of gender dynamics, socio-economic realities, and aesthetics in lace crafts. By juxtaposing traditional techniques with innovative approaches, the exhibition encourages fresh perspectives on the relationship between craft, community, and contemporary life. It invites visitors to reconsider the role of lace in reflecting social change and the evolving nature of craftsmanship.
On Thursday, 8th of August opens Juss Piho’s solo exhibition titled “Choice no 5” at Vaal Gallery. The exhibition will remain open until 7th of September.
Look at the details in the picture, says Piho. His paintings have clean lines, defined forms, precise execution, carefully modulated colour gamma. These technical means, in their diversity, create the tension in the picture. The overall impression describes a person in their moment of movement, or playfulness, while the dynamics of the image are entirely static. It is a perfect philosophical moment.
The artworks are mostly created in the current year. However, the core of the exhibition is spontaneous. The composition and matching happens in the gallery – it is based on the space and the fit between the paintings. The overall impact is important.

“We urge you to dream wisely to find the future you most desire, to anchor it in your heart, knowing the path is chosen.”*
Rocks, stones, minerals and the metals extracted from the ore are the point of departure in my work in order to reflect on the ambivalent relationship of man towards nature. Through the tactility, seductive beauty and energetic properties of this matter I search for ways on how to overcome the separation that we as humans created with the world around us, and reconnect with it.

A-Art Gallery invites you to the unique exhibition "ZED ART" by the multifaceted artist Eduard Zentsik.
The exhibition will feature 27 works that will immerse you in the world of abstraction and reveal one of the many faces of the Unknown Artist.
The play of vibrant colors and the eternal quest for harmony. Without wise concepts and grand philosophies.
A bit of freedom and a touch of taste. It is convenient to be an unknown multifaceted artist. There is no need to worry about losing face or being unrecognizable. When you are an unknown artist, the unknown is boundless.

The residency programme KORDON LAB on Food and Energy will conclude with public events tomorrow and the day after, on the 19-20 of July. On both days it is possible to get an insight into the research and works by the artists: Aga Pokrywka, Jonas Palekas and Mia Tamme. The works will unfold in various forms: filmic performance, sound performance and a shared dinner – unravelling the hidden stories about women who fish, or in collaboration with local plant species, human voices, and insular soundscapes, asking the question: What is foreign? And a summer school, beginning today, which brings together participants from various backgrounds to delve into a collective practice of experimental and creative cooking.
