The Center for Contemporary Printmaking’s 7th Biennial Footprint International Competition, is an opportunity for the presentation of current trends and innovations in contemporary printmaking within the bounds of the one square foot (12” x 12”) configuration. The square format was uncommon in art until the advent of abstraction and presents distinct challenges of composition and expression.

This symposium will provide a creative platform for experimental workshops where artists from a variety of backgrounds can engage in creative practice using contemporary and traditional forms of ceramic expression. Participants will get to know local environment and cultural context and create bone china artwork for the intended exhibition space.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute is looking for emerging European artists and collectives to join the 2020 edition of its Artists Development Programme (ADP), a 6-8 weeks long residency programme in Luxembourg, under the mentorship of renowned Finnish photographer Jorma Puranen.
 
The EIB launched two calls for applications targeting visual artists (aged less than 35) with nationality of one of the 28 EU Member States with a thematic focus
