Exhibition 'Can’t Do Hard Sun Whim'
to
Opening on August 5 at 17.00 Curated by Lieven Lahaye and Anu Vahtra Can’t Do Hard Sun Whim brings together artists and designers whose work relates in different ways to ideas of light and wear – either as material processes or conceptual conditions. Light can be seen as a physical phenomenon as well as a condition of visibility and perception; wear as a force for erosion and transformation, as well as an act of carrying, inhabiting or being worn. Through wearable sculpture, monoprint, quilt, cyanotype, slideshow, video and installation, the exhibition explores how materials, bodies and images are transformed through time, contact and environmental conditions.
