Sculpture symposium Treencarnation

The project of the sculpture symposium directly responds to the current need to cultivate public space from sustainable sources: the rebirth of trees = TREENCARNATION.

The aim of the project is to use the trees cut down and removed due to the construction of a new tram line in Petržalka District in Bratislava, to create sculptures. Some of the trees that had to step aside will thus have a chance for a "second life": they will return to the community in a new form, either as functional practical elements enriching the public space (benches, playground elements, information and direction signs) or as works of art, co-creating the character of the place.

Organizers provide: accommodation, meals, working material, basic tools and techncial assistance.
