This year, spring will be different again, but gallery Metropol continues to show exhibitions that artists in any other gallery could not, would not, wouldn’t dare, would not want to and it would not make sense to make anyway.

For several reasons of a more personal and general nature, curator Taave Tuutma has brought together group of powerful yet gentle creators, who have filled all the exposition spaces of Metropol house.

The exhibition also has a thematic centre, but this will be revealed on the spot.
The exhibition is ushered in by a selection of classic Margus Sorge Tiitsmaa paintings explaining the functioning of the world.
Painter Mauri Gross, who is currently making waves in Tallinn galleries as both an artist and curator, surprises with a risky conceptual and audience-involving project "Carte Blanche" in a 6 m2 gallery and public space and it justifies itself perfectly.
Karl-Kristjan Nagel, who has been engaged in plain air landscape painting for many years, has created a wind-slowing installative work "Accordion" in the Metropol Shop room.
And Estonian longest-lasting artist group Vedelik has flooded the cabinet gallery with their freshest artistic fluid.
As you know, the creation and viewing of art is strictly voluntary.
