Tarrvi Laamann is a DJ, artist, teacher, and traveler with Estonian roots who has considered the island of Jamaica his second home for the past couple of decades.
Since 1998, Laamann has been organizing monthly music nights called Bashment (continuing to this day) and, since 1996, a reggae and dancehall music radio show Bashment FM on IDAradio. In 2019, Tarrvi opened the cultural club Bashment Pub on the island of Jamaica and is the only Estonian DJ to have performed in Jamaica and continues to do so. He has also performed in Hiiumaa, Saaremaa, Worms, Japan, Iceland, Russia, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, and Norway. Big up, bless up, and respect!
