My video work 'the enforced memory' was selected for the main program of the festival Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin. The screening of my work will take place as part of the session 'Against':

Videocity presents Eye/View V: Hidden

In 2013, the public art project videocity.bs was developed by the Basel-based curator Dr. Andrea Domesle with the aim of making video art in the city, which is otherwise mainly known from the gallery or specialist festival context, accessible to a broad public and to offer other challenges to artists. Videocity.bs thus created a new presentation format for video art in Switzerland and Europe. In 2019, it was awarded by Memoriav as an audiovisual cultural asset of Switzerland - as a curatorial project, a novelty.  

My video work '10 Ways Not To Become the Invisible Woman After 40' will be screened as part of the programme 'Eye/View V: Hidden' starting from November 7, 2023.

Photobook Week in Aarhus

I was invited to do an exhibition for Photobook Week in Aarhus, Denmark. 
Together with an artist Triin Kerge, we curate the exhibition of photobooks and artistic books from Estonia presents a variety of formats, approaches, themes and ways of working with imagery by contemporary artists in Estonia. In Estonia, photography has, during the last few years, been losing its boundaries as a medium and now excitingly interweaves more with other forms of contemporary art. Often a photographic image becomes the starting point for a new curatorial and artistic journey or a final representation of that journey. The exhibition presents various ways artists in Estonia treat a book format with the aim of cataloguing, narrating, collaborating, summarising or experimenting with it in their practice.

The title of this exhibition is borrowed from the eponymous book, edited by Annika Toots and Merilin Talumaa (Mousse Publishing, 2023).
