How has the experience of migration affected your relationship with money and your economic situation? How does income impact your residence status in Estonia? Which new money-related concerns emerge in connection with migration? How do migration, economy and gender intertwine?

The workshop series invites you to reflect on your personal relationship with money and to place it within a broader social context. In the previous meeting, the discussion focused on the gendered dimension of everyday financial choices. This time, we will talk about migration. You are welcome to attend the workshop when you have experience of migrating to Estonia or migrating from Estonia to elsewhere.

Among other issues, we will map the connections between residence permit and income requirements: What happens to the non-EU students after graduating from international study programs in EKA? What are the options after the student visa expires?

The workshop language is English.
The conversation is facilitated by Airi Triisberg.
