Mazzano Romano residence scholarships for 2025

Väinö Tanner Foundation´s artist residence scholarships for 2025 are again open for all Estonian and in Estonia working artists and artisans and designers.
 
Väinö Tanner Foundation is an independent private Finnish Foundation which has supported Finnish and Estonian art and literature by providing residences for Finnish and Estonian artists, artisans, writers and poets for over 30 years.
 
In 2025 the available periods for Estonian and in Estonia working artists, artisans and designers are in the old studio residence (1. studio) July-December 2025 for 2  consecutive months (also possible to apply for 1 month residence period).

Unfortunately we can not provide residence periods in the Writers´ house any more for Estonians.

The scholarship includes a rent free visiting period and 200 € for travel costs.

Application should be made in English or Finnish. Detailed instructions are available in the application system.

Independent experts will assess the applications in October. The board of Tanner foundation decides of the scholarships based on the assessment procedure. The board decision will be taken in November 2024. Given scholarships are published and all applicants, your organization and our other partners are informed of the results in November too.
