Narva Art Residency (NART) has upcoming availability in July, and we are looking to host a miniresidency from 13-20 July. This is an opportunity to get a first introduction to both Narva and the residency house while focusing on your creative practice without major project requirements. At the moment, we are also hosting Ukrainian artist Oleksiy Koval.
The mini-residency is open to EKA employees, doctoral students, lecturers, and alumni. There is no selection process — the spot will go to the first person to write. NART provides free accommodation, a common kitchen, and access to the Kreenholm manufacturing complex.
NB! We are currently organizing residencies in a different location down the road from Joala 18. The renovation is still ongoing, and therefore, the accommodation is in the former Kreenholm engineers' quarters.
Applications should be sent to residentuur@artun.ee, including your study program and year or workplace at EKA.
If you are generally interested in a mini-residency but cannot participate this time, you are still welcome to let us know — occasional openings appear in the calendar, and we will contact those who have previously expressed interest.
