17.00 opening of the centre and exhibitions: Jaan Toomik's "Selfi kajakana" (Selfie as a Seagull) at ARS Project Space, Urmas Pedanik's paintings, ARS Concept: meaningfully made and carefully selected.
18.00 ARS Art Products Factory: history (Kai Lobjakas)
18.30 opening of ceramics centre and exhibition "Võnked" (Vibrations) by Anne Türn
19.00 ARS party: Mihkel Maripuu (project “Liminal Phase”) and Mihkel Ilus
 
The festival Open ARS continues on Friday, 7 February (exhibition tours and artist talks) and on Saturday, 8 February (workshops and a big Saturday of ceramics open to the public).
 
 
Inspiration, innovation and tradition since 1975. More than 100 artists, designers and creative companies. ARS connects the present and the past, progressive practices and technology with the deep-rooted technical expertise of professional art in Estonia.
 
The new centre at the ARS Art Factory (Pärnu mnt 154, Tallinn) includes a multifunctional project space, Gallery 125, ceramics centre, applied art gallery and creative meeting spaces: Studio 53 and Studio 98. The development of the centre is supported by Enterprise Estonia, through the project Open ARS, and Akzo Nobel Baltics AS. Open ARS festival is supported by Estonian Cultural Endowment and Liviko AS.
